We are looking forward to the annual Contra Costa Winegrowers Association Wine Trolley Tour. Check your calendars for Sunday, March 23, 2025. We are once again hosting a stop at our production facility on Sunset Road in Brentwood. This is a fantastic event which provides the opportunity to taste our wines, along with favorites from our local wine community. Enjoy live music, delicious small bites, olive oil tasting, plenty of seating… we are having fun planning for a great day. Tickets are on sale at ccwinegrowers.com. The ticket link can be found on the Events page.
Other exciting news revolves around the establishment of a new American Viticultural Area (AVA) that includes our growing region. The Contra Costa AVA has been adopted by the Alcohol and Tobaccco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB). This achievement has been a long time coming and is the result of the hard work and dedication of the Contra Costa Winegrowers Association. This recognition benefits local winegrowers in many ways and helps bolster the repuation of our wonderful local wine community. Please visit our “News” tab for more information.
Many people don’t know that our grapes are sought after by winemakers throughout Calilfornia. You never know when our grapes may be part of your favorite California wine! Retaining a portion of our grapes to produce our own wines has been a wonderful chapter in a long history of growing quality fruits and vegetables. You may inquire about purchases by contacting us at info@orchardandvinebrentwood.com, or visit our “Shop” page.
Cheers!
Orchard & Vine is an active agricultural operation nestled in the hills along Vasco Road at the edge of Brentwood in Northern California. Something of interest is always underway! Fall means pumpkins, but thriving wine grapes, cherries, strawberries, peaches, nectarines, olives, pomegranates, along with several seasonal row crops, enhance the beautiful landscape and Mt. Diablo provides a majestic backdrop. We have been joined by Three Nunns Farm, and passersby will notice big changes. Check out threenunnsfarm.com for updates. The future is bright – and fresh – and tasty!
